COVID-19 Protocols

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following protocols are in place

  • Students are required to have a cloth or disposable mask at class
  • Masks must be worn during class when a physical distance of 2m cannot be maintained between students, or between student and instructor
  • Masks my be removed at the user’s discretion during class if a distance of 2m is being maintained between students, or if a student is working with a member of the same household

In addition, the following COVID-19 items are included in our Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement, which each student or parent/guardian must sign before participating in classes with Charlottetown Martial Arts:

You will not attend class if:

  • Within the past fourteen (14) days you have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others
  • You have traveled at any point in the past fourteen (14) days either internationally or to a community outside the Atlantic Bubble
  • You believe that you may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by local public health authorities.
